The California Walks Program compliments TRCD's Transformative Climate Communities (TCC) Planning Program, and the Communidades Activas y Seguras (CAyS) Program is being developed specifically to meets the needs of the unincorporated  farming community of Tranquillity on the west side of Fresno County.   In addition to California Walks, others participating or sponsoring this program includes. Self-Help Enterprises Fresno, County Department of Public Works and Planning, Fresno Council Of Governments (COG).  It is anticipated that the Golden Plains Unified School District will be a key partner in this important safety program.
